Give the current event a copy name and save it in your local history. Return later to review its quantities, costs and defined contribution without replacing the active worksheet.

Start the next event with a saved earlier copy

Enter a later event name and date, then choose Archive current event and open next. Quantities must reconcile and leftover units must exist. The app saves the named earlier event first. Only then does it open a new worksheet with those leftover units and their cost. New event expenses start at zero.

If the history save fails or another tab has changed it, the current worksheet stays intact. If you edit while a save is running, the earlier snapshot may be saved but your current edits are retained. Save the new active worksheet explicitly when ready.

Review a saved result

Select a saved copy, review its summary and download the reviewed text. It includes event name/date, stock dispositions, calculated measures, expense labels and amounts. Private expense references are excluded; personal details typed in public labels remain. Unreconciled records keep their warning and do not calculate contribution.

A working copy keeps the archive intact

Opening a saved event creates an independent editable worksheet after confirmation. Later edits do not update the saved copy. Delete removes only the selected archive after confirmation. The current worksheet and downloaded files stay unchanged.

Two backups, two scopes

Download event backup for the active worksheet. Download private history for all named saved copies, including private cost references. Restoring history replaces only that library, after confirmation; it leaves the active worksheet unchanged. Keep up to ten copies within 3 MB total.

Snapshots need judgment

Multiple saved copies may describe the same event or reuse the same carried stock. The app does not reserve units or combine these copies into accounting profit. Save timestamps describe the copy operation, not verified sale or count times. Local records can be edited, deleted or cleared with browser data; download backups for anything you need to keep.
