Know what went into the day
See the costs behind the total.
Add up to 100 labeled costs for one market event. Examples might be an entered stall fee, transport cost or a payment-processing charge from your records. The total feeds the existing event contribution and cash-after-new-costs calculations once.
Keep production costs separate
If a cost is already included in a product’s unit cost, do not enter it again here. Decide on a consistent basis for your own records. The tool does not allocate shared overhead, decide tax treatment, reconcile a bank statement or calculate payroll. Its entered-cost contribution is not accounting profit.
Review a cost breakdown
The separate expense export contains the event name/date, labels, amounts and total. Private reference notes never enter it or the ordinary event summary. Personal information typed in a cost label remains there, so review the preview before sharing. References are text notes, not stored receipt attachments.
Move older records forward safely
An older event’s expense total becomes one line labeled Previously entered event expenses. Rename or split it only when you have the underlying detail; remove or replace that migrated line when adding its component costs to avoid counting both.
Backups and the next event
New version-2 event backups preserve every cost and private reference. The current native development build and older web readers reject this new version; they do not silently drop the detail. A next-event carryover file starts with no event costs while preserving the transferred stock cost. The original event stays unchanged.
Save explicitly or download a full event backup. All amounts are USD, each with at most two decimals. Total event costs are limited to $1,000,000; zero lines means zero entered event costs.
